  • One Nevada Credit Union... I could say that I royally dislike this bank but that's a lie... my views on this branch location is so bad I cannot find the words.   I have been with them for years, almost a decade if not more... You can't find a convenient location on a bus route, and this one location was the closest even though, I live on the west side of the Strip and this is very East!  I was taking a bus for a long time, and getting to this bank was beyond horrible, they are located on a hill, and midway down between 2 stop lights... The easy location they closed down, like the one on Flamingo and Arville... The building is horribly kept up, their lot is just as wretched, from a distance it looks abandoned.  The people inside are terribly rude (except a younger guy, whom I didn't sit down with).  The last 4 encounters with them in the past year I have been trying to get an auto loan with them, (because they told me that a dealership will rob me blind and could charge up to 35% APR), when I first started my credit score was crap, and granted attempting the loan process was really dumb, but I had a rather large down payment to use.  I was provided with false hope and sent home without an answer, even though she knew the answer before I left... I was later told by that first agent to use my down payment to pay off my credit and go back to try again.  I cleared it up in 3 weeks, and went back to apply again, only to find out that I am silly that I returned before building up a high score.  EVEN Though they offer "credit building loans" THEY DON'T MEAN IT!!!! ITS ALL B.S!!!,  I was made to feel very stupid for not knowing the details that were never explained to me in the first place, the old white agent (with gray curly hair, with pinched lips and very skinny) kept talking to me like I was beyond rude to me, I was on the verge of a horrible meltdown, but when I told her I had ASD and I was trying to process what she was saying, I went from human to braindead instantly!!!!  All I wanted was straight talk, not twisted lies.... When I asked her why nothing was explained to me before she told me the fault laid upon my own doorstep!  "Try again when you have a better score" She used a condescending endearments but I cannot remember which ones, by then I was trying to figure out what was going on, the other agent who told me to pay off my credit with my down payment was staring at me through the glass cubicle (which is another whole bad design!).  I did 6 months of on time payments of my new credit cards, and with a credit score of 749 I went to the auto dealership and got a brand new car, with an APR of 3.9%!!!  If you are building your credit, or new at buying a car... DON'T GO THERE FOR HELP!!! Do yourself a favor, just build up your score on your own and then go to the dealership! Now that I am not bus bound I will not be returning to that branch, ever again!
