  • In seek of produce and I knowing that Albertsons has a wonderful selection usually of veggies and fruit I did find what I was seeking. The produce department here was being stocked while I shopped and everything was so fresh and delicious. The veggies were of the highest quality and were so moist. The fruit selection was great too. The various varieties of fruit seems to be exclusive to Albertsons . I ended up finding dragon fruit, kiwi, and ready to be cut mangos. With such a massive produce department the prices of some of the fruits were higher than most stores. It seems that they may charge a little higher prices in order to provide the selection to the public . I feel this is a service I am more than thankful to pay a little more for. The customer service was awesome too. On a side note the bakery is located right next to the produce department and I wonder if this is strategically placed. After doing the shopping for produce and going to the register the guest must walk past this huge refrigerator with cupcakes and individual slices of cake. It is so tempting and sometimes I can not give in to cupcakes, but not this trip. They had these beautiful strawberry shortcake vanilla cupcakes that were calling to me and I answered by placing them in the cart. Yes, they came home with me and were absolutely fabulous. Great Albertsons with excellent associates and produce department. Plus the cupcakes are very good and so worth it. One as I did can even purchase there Golden Knights T-shirt's here at low prices.
