Not bad. Not great.
The place is clean enough, though the floors and stairwells creak loudly whenever folks walk by, and it becomes annoying at night. The wifi is terrible: your connection gets dropped every minute or two for a few seconds. This is annoying of casual web surfing, but a dealbreaker for anything that requires decent latency. Check-in was pretty smooth even though I came in late. They had my key and sheets waiting for me at the front desk, and emailed me instructions on how to get inside. The tables in the common area are all sticky, and the bathrooms aren't filthy but aren't all that clean either. The coffee shop downstairs is pretty good. The location is great, being near the West Side Market, several bus lines, and the redline station.
Not the worst hostel.
If I came back to Cleveland, I'd probably stay here again though. Definitely bring ear plugs.
