  • I'm a sucker for farmer's markets. I mean, when I travel, I hunt these bad boys down to marvel at the wonders of farms, and the people who grow fresh, pesticide-free, delicious food. Since the Vegas markets tend to be super-far from where I live, I was excited to hear that a farmers market was finally coming to my 'hood. Fresh52 is located in a parking lot of a busy strip-mall, populated by the White Pepper Grill, Fado's, the Paul Mitchell Hair School and Salon, and a plethora of other businesses. Unfotunately, there were only about 15 or so tents at this market... but, based on the quality of the vendors (there was a strawberry farmer from Cali on hand with the tastiest berries I had in a long time -- damn me for buying 4 lbs of those suckers from Costco the day before!), I have a feeling this market will grow and blossom. Support farmers and visit soon!!!
