| - Normally hotels meet my needs. Comfortable bed, coffee in the room, elevators that are timely, hot shower, good view, decent TV (even though I rarely watch) and towels that are soft. The Hyatt Place had all that and even took it a step beyond.
First, free breakfast in the morning. Was it Jimmy Dean's biscuit sandwiches. No. Homemade english muffin sandwiches, French Toast, fruit, oatmeal and potatoes with several fresh fruits, coffee and tea. Very elegant breakfast and ample, very ample open seating.
The local was perfect. Crocker Park offers shopping, dining, and even a movie theater 200 feet away. You never have to get in your car.
Speaking of car, parking is around the hotel or a free garage right behind. (PS - Great view of the sunset from the roof of the garage).
Open business office seating (no office), right in the lobby with tables and couches all around inside and outside.
The staff was awesomely nice.
Wall Street Journal and US Today in the front lobby.
Some incredible local art all around the lobby and floors.
Did I mention walk in glass shower and opaque glass door for the bathroom.
Big kudos. Also, extra cup of coffee. Bigger kudos.
From start to finish an amazing stay and worthy of that top rating.
