This place was great for our 4 year old daughter. Our favorite part was the miniature room. It was so cool to see all of the local buildings here in Phoenix recreated with legos. I will say that this is a place that is mostly for young children or kids that are really into legos. Other than the two rides (which are simple but fun) there was not much for me and my husband to do. We had a good time building different things with our daughter. So, if you are looking for that kind of bonding this place would also be great for you. They have really neat looking party rooms. I will say that if you plan ahead you can really save some money on the entry fee. As of the date of this review admission is $22 for anyone over the age of 2. If you book ahead online it is only $17 and if you are a AAA member it is only $15.40. So you can really save some money if you plan ahead. We did purchase the activity pack which is $4, I still haven't decided if this is worth it or not. Our daughter had fun finding all of the punches and punching her card but the activities in it would really require a sharpie to complete because the pack is made out of plastic. It is a nice little souvenir though. The cafe is pretty simple and actually the prices are not that bad. They do simple sandwiches for the kids with a side and a drink. I don't remember exactly how much it was but I believe it was around $7. It also came with the choice of a prize of a lego storage box, a mini figure or one other thing which I don't remember. For the mini figure along it is worth it. Word of warning, there are not a ton of tables and chairs in the cafe and, unfortunately, a lot of parents set up shop at the tables and then go off and do all the activities and leave their stuff so no one can sit there. Sort of annoying. When you exit the center you are dumped into the gift shop. I have to say, though, the prices here were better than I have seen for legos anywhere. They still weren't cheap but they were better than anywhere else. My daughter got a Wonder Woman set that normally runs $16+ in the stores. Here is was only $10. Overall this was a great little place to spend a couple of hours on our family Stay-cation.
