  • The two movers that came to our house were seriously expert packers. Now I did get a little nervous when I saw one of the guys because he was very skinny and was a lot smaller than me in stature. However he proved me wrong and was pretty strong and all our heavy cabinets were carried off with ease. We had ordered a 16 foot self storage container from PODS. However we knew we needed professional movers to move all our furniture from the house into the container. We hired Jia Jia on a recommendation and I'm glad we did. They were professional, courteous, and quick. They were not sloppy quick, but instead they utilized every square inch of that POD. Going into the move I figured we could only fit about 70% of our stuff into the one POD. These two guys were able to securely move 97% of our stuff into it. I'm not joking when I say we had a lot of stuff...a lot of big bulky furniture and a safe. Anyhow, they were very good and took them 2 and a half hours to do it. It probably would have been a lot faster if they only had to put them in flat and into a 24 foot truck. However we had a 16 footer container only and I was impressed. Note: we only hired them to pack everything into the container. They didn't have to move the container as we got PODS to do it. We wrapped up all our own furniture and boxes. They charge by the hour, flat rate travel time and a flat fee of $10 per floor. I would definitely hire them again for packing.
