| - I have to write this review while the experience is still fresh in my mind. Hands down, this is some of the best ice cream ever! Remember when Cold Stone was a huge deal because they create your ice cream on that cold slab and take your tastebuds off to some far off wonderland? This place is ten times better than that experience.
I ordered the Pumpkinroll, which was on the specials board, and paid $7.50 +tax. Sure, the price seems steep... but then you get that ice cream dream into your hands and it all becomes worth it very quickly. My husband ordered the raspberry cheesecake (on their regular menu) and then we stood behind the light crowd waiting for our turn. The "ice cream expert" - as my husband referred to the employee that helped him - calls your name and you stand on the other side of the glass watching your treat come to life. They pour what I assume is a mixture of cream, vanilla, and sugar onto a circular metal slab that is about 3-degrees Fahrenheit, they add some of the other ingredients (for me this was vanilla wafers and pumpkin spice) and they mix, mix, mix and chop, chop, chop until it is well combined. They spread it all out into a thin layer and then roll it piece by piece until you're left with five rolls of ice cream to go into your cup. Top it off with some additional toppings and there you have it! A deliciously creative, handmade treat.
You have to try this place!! You'll be so glad that you did.
