  • I had my nails done 5 days ago. I had hard gel nails that needed to be widened and painted. The girl I saw said she could use acrylic to widen them and it would adhere just fine to the gel. Nope. My nails started breaking the next day, and now 5 days later I have three broken nails, one nail that is half off, and one nail that came completely off. At first she was only going to rebuild 5 of the nails, until I asked that she do the pinkies as well. I had to ask her to actually shape all of the nails! Best part is when I called to see if they would do anything about it she basically told me it wasn't her fault and that the acrylic doesn't stick to gel sometimes. That's why I asked her before she started if it was even going to work. At the time she said it works fine. She told me I should have the hard gel taken off (for $25) and have a new set put on (starting at $50). not cool. I would recommend avoiding this salon. side note: my friend's swavorski elements fell off her hands within a 5 days and they wouldn't replace them for her either!!!
