  • I moved to Peoria, AZ from NYC from a pretty rough neighborhood my kids were so unhappy in there schools. My son attends Sunrise mountain and since he has begun he has not given me a hard time to go to school, he looks forward to attending classes though due to his friends he was slacking off a bit. BUt the teachers are right on point i recieve quarterly emails about his grades. My son never played football before and with him having ADD. Its hard for him to stay on task like others. But his peers helped him thru and his coaches were absolutely understanding with my situation with just moving and helped my son. I would like to give a special thanks to Officer Ortiz who is also from New York. yay! I had a situation that i was afraid of it escalating and officer ortiz was right on it. I left him a message and he called me right back and took care of the situation. This gave me peace of mind and he also notified the right people. Peoria Police Dept and Sunrise have been blessed with Officer ortiz and coach carter and coach fox. I appreciate all you guys do.
