We all have a love/hate relationship with the major airlines, don't we? Yeah, we love to hate them.
Let's see, where to begin? The fees! Ah yes, the fees! Those of you "Monty Python" fans might remember the "Game Show Sketch":
"The rules are very simple: each week we get a large fee; at the end of that week we get another large fee; if there's been no interruption at the end of the year we get a repeat fee ..."
A lot like air travel, eh? Yes, I know I used this already in my American Airlines review.
Oh and thanks to the major airlines cutting service out of PIT, I actually flew on a subsidiary airline, Shuttle America (which see http://www.yelp.com/biz/shuttle-america-dba-united-express-coraopolis#hrid:0wkLhBJmR0g80y0zklO7hg ). Shuttle America wasn't too bad, but because of my desired departure and arrival times, my connection point was in Newark. That's right! I had to fly east in order to get west. What a waste of resources!
Oh well, I got there safely and reasonably on-time!
