  • The last review that I did about UA I was accused of working for them and trying to boost their ratings. That can't be farther from the truth...I am not an employee of UA. Today I had purchased a ticket on UA to fly from PHX to AUS through IAH. The flight was originally delayed about 40 minutes due to weather delays in the Midwest. That delay was extend to an hour...then we did board. While the co-pilot was checking the aircraft after landing he found a chip in one of the engine fans and the captain called to have the mechanics come over for a look. They arrived in about 30 minutes, but the repair took much longer and I was in danger of missing my connection at IAH to AUS. The gate staff looked at my reservation and booked me on a flight on American Airlines. Way to go UA!
