| - Oh pretend luxury, how I loathe you.
If I had to describe the Paris in one word, that word would be TACKY!!
Seriously though - between the fake cobbles, painted sky, and faux store fronts in the lobby, I absolutely had no illusion of actually being in Paris.
We stayed in one of the "newly renovated" super sized rooms. The decor was well researched, but fairly cheap. What gets me most is the lack of attention to detail...no robes in the rooms, the beds are uncomfortable, there's not one centralized light switch by the beds to turn everything off at once, the TV is small for how far from the beds it is, no minibar, etc.
The Paris is a tacky, cheap hotel masquerading as a well done, luxurious property. Only stay here if you're planning on spending all of your time out and about or asleep.
