I have been to Big O Tires three times in my life.
All three times I thought I was going to get jammed.
All three times I was wrong.
On my first visit, my car was idling so slowly that it was dying at stop lights. I rolled into the first repair place I saw. I knew I was in trouble. The rube from North Dakota (that's me) was going to get worked. Much to my surprise, the nice people took care of the issue and charged me a nominal amount.
On my second and third visit, I had a slow leak in my right rear tire. On the third visit, they found the problem, and spent at least 45 minutes fixing said problem. They went above and beyond the call of duty. My cost? Zero. Please note: I did not buy my tires at Big O. When I found out it was free, I slipped the tech a $20 when no one was looking. Shhhh.
I'm the CFO of a company that owns a tire store. I can honestly say I was treated better at Big O than I ever was at my company store. Just amazing.
I'll be taking my car to Big O whenever I have a problem. You should too.
In fact, I don't much care if they screw me next time.
