Such a great hike in Boulder City, especially for when you have out of town guests. It is a beginner trail that is flat the entire way. You pass through a number of tunnels that were once used to transport materials to Hoover Dam as they were building it. This trail is too hot to hike in the summer months and they have signs to remind you of this. The free parking lot is located just down the road of the lake Mead Visitor Center. The lot is located before the toll booth so no fee required. Bring water for this 3.7 miles from trailhead to Hoover Dam Parking Garage or 7.4 miles roundtrip. Mountain bikes are welcome.
