  • I rarely ever give 5-star reviews for anyone, because when I do give a 5-star review, I want it to mean something special. I would give East Lincoln more than 5 if I could. I have dogs ranging from a pure German Shepherd to mutts I've rescued. I've had as many as 5 cats at the same time. I have a lot of animals as pets so I've had a tremendous amount of dealing with East Lincoln. To me, my animals are part of my family. They are not just animals. They have feelings and emotions. They both give and receive love. They can think and have personalities. They are not just lower life forms. They are living, breathing, beloved family members who add richness to my life. And whether one is sick or just needs regular maintenance shots or medications, the vet I take them to needs to understand the level of trust I require before I hand over one of my family members to them. East Lincoln does indeed understand this. Through health, sickness, surgeries, death, ongoing support and care and regular maintenance, I could never hope to find another vet who is more human, kind, caring, honest, understanding and helpful than the ones I've dealt with here. I see them as part of my extended family because we've shared both grief and joy with them. And will continue to do so in the future. As with anywhere, there are a few on the staff who just have a job. But most of the people who work there are truly caring people who understand that some people value the lives of their pets the same as they value their own. I am thankful to have found Dr. Carroll and East Lincoln. As a side note, I drive about 45 minutes to get there from Charlotte, past 6 closer vet offices, just because they are worth it in every way.
