| - Came here and tried most of each bite of the dishes they offered: crab cake, cheeses, the flat bread, crostini, and strawberry mojito.
What's Hot
- Strawberry mojito. I felt a buzz, so I could definitely feel the tequila. However, I liked that the drink wasn't too strong. I could taste the sweetness of the strawberry and there wasn't a burn when I drank the mojito. For me, that's a good sign, because I don't like it when a mixed drink burns.
- Quality of the food. Everything was super delish. I loved the olives that came with the cheeses and wished there were more. I really liked the crab cakes. Excellent flavor and I really liked that they were served warm. I think my favorite was the cheese flat bread with the fresh tomatoes. It was nicely seasoned and flavored.
- Service. The staff was very nice and attentive. They regularly checked if we needed anything else and learned the tables. They also regularly asked us if we wanted any additional mojitos.
- Layout. There was enough seating for everyone and it wasn't crowded, which was greatly appreciated.
- I enjoyed the tour of their own grown produce and the explanation by the chef and the local grower. I really enjoyed seeing how the restaurant is being more farm to table. It's ecologically friendly and it's great seeing local restaurants getting involved in that sense and partnering with others in the community.
- Take home gift. It was nice to have the option of a take home gift. Although I didn't partake, I saw this was a great interest for others.
What's Not
- They ran out of food rather quickly. I was not able to go back to try any second bites. To be fair, it was probably 45 minutes to 1 hour later, but yea... that part sucked. Oh well...
Final Answer
Great event! Thanks for everything and would definitely recommend this restaurant.
