The salon worked to make my experience right so I am giving 5 stars now.
The details matter, and this place seems to have forgotten that. I wanted a manicure with SNS. While the SNS job was nice, the gentleman performed no manicure services, and I wasn't even instructed to wash my hands in the process or ro. My cuticles and hands were left dry and cracked from the SNS nails. I would've gladly paid more for those services but instead was rushed into the pedicure.
Move onto the pedicure. First, the water burned me, forcing me to mess up my nails and jump out of the water. I tried to point out the error on my nail but they either didn't want to hear it or didn't understand me. Second, they put me in a broken massage chair. I tried to explain the chair was broken and get help, but the guy was oblivious. I had to turn off the massage chair and deal with the chair knots uncomfortably pushing into my back. I downgraded my pedicure to "classic" just to get out of there faster.
I'm giving three stars because I have some fault in this. I suppose I should've asked to move chairs or been more assertive but frankly didn't want to exert the energy when no one seemed to understand me anyway. And the entire reason I go to get my nails done is to relax, not to end up in uncomfortable situations.
