Today I unfortunately had a really poor experience. This store did not deliver friendly service to all their customers.
There were 3 employees behind the counter and they were all chatting with someone who seemed to be a regular client. They were so busy they did not even notice me waiting behind him. After a few minutes I realized no one was going to help me and I couldn't even tell if he was in line and had been helped. So I asked him If he was in line and he said "no I already placed my order". So I moved up to the counter and still waited a minute or two before someone acknowledged me.
Then, I originally asked for a tall and then I changed my mind and stopped her from writing on the cup and asked for a grande instead. Once I made the change she rolled her eyes as if the drink was already made therefore creating more work. After I placed my order she didn't even say anything to me. I walked away from the main counter and waited for my drink at a nearby table. After having sat down she called me back saying I did not have enough money on my card and had to pay the difference. I told her my card showed I had enough to pay for the entire drink. I told her I had to run to the car then and get some change as I did not bring my wallet to pay any difference since I wasn't expecting to do so. (I am not specifically complaining about the fact that I had to pay)
The entire experience today made me feel like I was a bother and the employee was really going bout of her way to provide me with a drink. I usually have a great experience at any Starbucks location, but today was out of the norm and really turned me off that I just had to write about it. If I could give 0 stars This location would definitely get 0 starts!!! I won't rush back anytime soon.
