  • I used the 800 number for Geek Squad so this is a review for their national services whereby technicians take control of your computer. I had an issue with Windows Live Mail syncing with Hotmail which I could not resolve after many hours of online research. I decided my cost comfort zone for resolving this issue was $59.95. Microsoft offered repair services for $99.95. I looked around online and found Geek Squad at a very reasonable $39.95. It took over three hours to resolve, but I feel I received good value for both time spent and complexity of the issue. My problem has been resolved and I am happy with the service provided.
