Went to this beautiful restaurant looking for some delicious sushi at a pricey high end restaurant at one of Vegas' newest hotels. Wow, what a disappointment.
Michelin star? Really? They must not have checked recently. The wife ordered two sushi rolls for about $25 each (normally price around $5-8 range at other great sushi places.) The California Roll had a crunchy tendon/shell fragment in it and they replaced it with another. But, that second roll tasted as though it was rolled in salt and was inedible!!
I (The Mr.) am not a big sushi fan, so ordered their angus rice for $34.. wow, what a surprise when I received 2 cups worth of rice (if that) and small bits of beef to eat and it was mostly soy saucey.
To finally top it off, our drinks ran dry many times before they finally came around to refill.
They did take the bad sushi roll(s) off the bill, but didn't appologize or even say they removed it from our bill when the slapped down the check and walked away.
Stay away... Far far away. Now we know why it was mostly empty. This place needs to get some new cooks or management. Does not reflect well on the MGM brand at all and we're long time MGM customers.
