I am an avid botox/dysport user and a friend of mine & I always compare our notes with Drs/places that we try...I mean let's be honest, this stuff is NOT cheap so I like to get the most for my $ like all of us. The place is very clean and the staff was very kind. Dr. Chen was "fine" and I do have to say that I REALLY like that he opened the Botox box & diluted the vial right in front of me (so no shady business there). He does, however, need a little work when he points out your flaws though!! I mean, I know I have a fair amount of furrow lines, crows feet etc (43yrs & a lot is genetics) but he made sure I KNEW it (Lol). That part didn't bother me much as I know not all Drs have great bed side matters. The part that gets me is that I feel like all Drs think they can be good injectors just because they are MDs(front desk told me he was/is an anesthesiologist)...I've found that to NOT be the case. With neurotoxins I really feel that a lot has to do with "technique". Unfortunately, I don't think Dr. Chen has it ;-(
I had odd little spock lines above my eyes & a weird little line/movement at the top near my hairline. I can always tell when people have "BAD botox" & it made me a little self conscious after I had mine done with him cause I felt like one of those people...bummer! It also wore off in less than 2 months! UGH...only found 1 Dr here in Vegas that really has amazing technique, but you will pay a LOT more for him. Oh well, still on the search for the perfect injector!
