We went to The Green Mango for the first time today. We were there for lunch and the menu seemed pretty extensive. We ordered the spring rolls and samosas and the tom yum soup. The appetizers were a little oily but tasted fine, nothing extraordinary. The soup was pretty good, especially on a cold winter. Me and my husband shared a vegetarian spicy basil fried rice and it was pretty good.
The one thing I wasn't impressed about was the service. We were seated at a two person table in the corner which was pretty cramped to begin with. Within 2 minutes of getting our soup and appetizers we got our fried rice. By the time we finished with our appetizers and moved on to the fried rice, it got cold. They should have waited till we were done with the first course to get the entree out. We also ordered some hot ginger tea. While the tea was very flavorful, the sugar was pre added and we usually don't take sugar with our tea.
Overall, the food was decent and so were the prices and portions. I would definitely go back hoping for a little better service.
