| - I would not recommend this Conn's or any other Conn's. I purchased a washer/dryer from them on 7/4. It did not work from the get-go; after several attempts at repair, they decided to replace it. They couldn't do a replacement over the phone, so I had to visit the store again. Upon entry, I was immediately asked "who sent me?" because "this is the 3rd replacement today", as if I was in on some scam or joke. The manager, Mike, has zero customer service skills and blamed everything he couldn't do - such as not charge me for a new warranty on a product that never worked right from delivery or the return of hardware they sold me that I didn't need - on corporate. No one asked me when I would be home for delivery - all the paperwork was processed with the assumption I was free the next day.
I called corporate to issue a complaint. While they listened and were overall very courteous, they refused to issue me a complimentary warranty. When I asked how much one was they couldn't even tell me and referred me...get this...back to the store. Yes, seriously.
On another note, every time I've had service from them of any kind, I get a phone call early in the AM - around 6 - about my recent service transaction. When I answer, no one is there. When I call back, it clearly states it's Conn's, and then disconnects.
I'll take my business elsewhere from now on - I encourage anyone who likes their money to do the same.
