  • Located on the East Side of Madison, right by East Towne Mall, it's typically more of a treat to come out to this Takumi Japanese Restaurant. Yesterday, since I was carving some Shrimp Tempura Udon (after watching videos on how to make some online) and giving that we were in the area to go shopping nearby, we decided to stop by this location. We ordered three different lunch specials, so I was able to have my shrimp tempura udon with miso soup and three rolls of sushi: eel avocado, shrimp tempura and spicy tuna. All of which was fairly delicious as we struggled to eat all the of the food. Service was decent, when my cup of water was low, it only took a few minutes before the server came by to fill it back up. Prices are reasonable, a little higher but for the quality of food, it was good.
