I always came to this place constantly as a kid and the whole family loved it. Now going as an adult I can make a proper review of the place. The pool here is huge and fairly clean. The deep end goes upto 6 feet and they have a shallow buoyed area for kids who can also use floaters there too. There is a small area for playing in the sand as well. If you get here early you can probably find a good tree or other area with a good amount of shade. Otherwise majority of the pool area is pretty open with lots of sun. There's a few good hiking/walking paths too for extra exercise and they also have a model airplane area which is very cool. I don't remember there being one before but now there's a off leash area for dogs and it's a good size. The park in general is pretty huge but things to do are limited to a compact area- the rest is pretty much trees and they also have a large part for camping. Prices for the pool are cheap (3.25 for adults) but the vehicle permit is pretty steep in my opinion (17$ per car). This place is great for kids. Aside from the pool/rec area there's a big barn house that's a play place for kids 10 and under; they also have a small outdoor play park area but that part is a bit rundown. They've got barn animals on site (cows, chickens, rabbits, ducks, and even a few peacocks) but not nearly as much as they used to have when I was a kid. Theres also have a nature house with other species but they close pretty early (10-5). Overall I love this place, but it misses one star because maintenance over the last 10-15 years looks like its lacking. If anything, not much has been updated or maintained at all so some parts seem pretty run down or old. Side note: coolers are allowed in the pool area which is awesome! There's also nets for tennis, and badminton/volleyball.
