Looking for a coffee place other than Starbucks and Dunkin and landed here after doing some Yelping. Its this inconspicuous little shop hidden in a small plaza behind a rundown gas station. Yup, it's pretty hard to find without navigating to it with Google Maps running. Saw the amazing ratings and had to jump right in. The place is cozy with somewhat dim lighting but enough to get work done. There are also tables and couches around so you can sip coffee and chat with a buddy or get working on that assignment of yours. The counter is right smack dab in the middle and the menu on the back wall. Besides your milky specialty drinks, you also got what looks to be some legit home roasted coffee.
I ended up getting tempted by the Dirty Thai Tea which is Thai tea with a shot of espresso. I was concerned that it might too sweet and I was right. It was still too sweet even though it was tempered by the espresso shot. I feel you can only take little spurts of it but a whole cup is too much IMO. My sis got the Flynn which surprisingly wasn't too sweet even though it had coconut cream and caramel in it. It had a stronger coffee flavor that I was looking for.
I feel that there are some hits and some misses here but overall this place is a great place to relax and grab a legit cup of coffee. It's home-y and relaxed and a great place to wind down away from the modern looking Starbucks around town. It's a bit hard to find but the search is worth it. I will be back to try other drinks or maybe their black coffee as well.
