The lobby is the best part of this hotel. It's very luxurious looking. The room and the floor that it's on... Not so much. Everything looks kind of dated. There was mold in the bathroom shower tub, and the sink didn't drain properly. It's definitely okay for a short stay though it doesn't seem like a 4 star hotel. Checkout was easy because they have an express checkout option. The casino is typical but they have a nice lounge in there (hit lounge?) with awesome live music. Be aware there is a $30 per day resort fee which significantly bumps up the room rate as a %. Take that into account when cross shopping because it's sort of a hidden fee and not all hotels charge the same fee if any. I read online that the fee covers internet, the fitness centre, fax, and 2 water bottles, etc. I didn't even get any water bottles. Guess that was taken out of the budget. The pool was closed too. The solution they post is to take a 5 minute walk to the MGM Grand nearby to use their pool. Really. Lastly, the walls are paper thin so you can hear your neighbors easily so pray you have quiet drunks for neighbors.
