rev:text	I am typically not a sewing kind o' gal, but I got very ambitious with a Halloween costume this year...it involved making a giant Where the Wild Things Are head, so I had to pick up a lot of supplies, mostly fabric. I heard that the prices here were decent, and I guess they were?! I don't' know. I found the store very overwhelming, cramped, and untidy. As for the customer service. Well, I needed pricing advice - this vs. that kind of thing. So I asked the girl at the cutting table. She replied that she didn't know what I was making and went back to what she was doing. So I explained my project to her and asked her to price the materials. She scoffed and said "I really don't know what you're making" aka 'stop asking me, I don't want to help you.' I then got her to cut a yard of felt quietly. I took my materials and said "thanks for your help. Or, non help." As I walked away, she says - in the most sarcastic voice - "you might need your receipt. It might come in handy at the cash" like I was the dumbest person she'd ever encountered. I've never bought fabric before in my life, I obviously didn't know. Even if it were dumb, I'm the customer, she's supposed to be at least civil. The other staff, while not rude, were just not helpful and ignored customers. I do give this place 2 stars because I managed to find most of what I needed for the costume & paid a reasonable price for all of it... If you're an experienced fabric purchaser, this location is probably great. But if you are a novice, I would suggest bringing along a knowledgeable friend to dig through the chaos with you.
