  • This place definitely has the small "personal" mechanic feel. My wife and I have been taking our vehicles there for 4 or 5 years now. The owner's name is John and he's always there, always working and always willing to take the time to talk shop, or anything else with you. The prices are fair, turn around is quick and we've never had to take our cars back to have something they did re-done. Recently my wife's car was rear-ended and she took it to the place the insurance company recommended. When we got it back, the "Door Open" light stayed lit. We took it to All About Auto Care and John figured out in about 10 minutes they put the wrong wiring harness on. We took it back to the place that fixed it, told them it was the harness and they just gave us that "Yeah, Right" look. 2 days later they still couldn't figure out it was the harness John told us it was and they finally took it to the dealer, who replaced the harness. If you live on the West Side and need a good, honest, friendly mechanic, All About Auto Care is the place to go.
