  • FEZ has been my go-to in downtown Phoenix ever since they offered delectable margaritas (in so many flavors! With creative, fun garnish!) at prices unheard of since Paz closed down. Happy hour has since changed into daily specials and discounted appetizers. My favorite is the feta fries, especially if you ask for the mint yogurt sauce for dipping. And as for the margaritas, every flavor is spot on. The menu is Mediterranean inspired with some fresh twists on other regional foods, such as the coconut curry--add blackened chicken if you eat meat. Veggies make a strong appearance in many of the dishes, so there is reason to justify it is health food. If you have a dog in tow, this is the perfect place to take a seat on the patio with your pup. The nearby Hance Park ensures several sightings of fellow furry friends so your dog will be just as entertained as you are. Free parking is available to customers of FEZ, Fair Trade, and surrounding businesses in the adjacent garage. The atmosphere is fairly vibrant and trendy, making it more date friendly than for families.
