My 2nd grade class to a field trip here one day during the week and it was awesome. The tour was a bit much for second graders since it is has the signs from the past, but they enjoyed.
Signs ranged from the first golden nugget, the ugly duckling, to treasure island skeleton. On our tour, we hand our very own tour guide "Mr. Chris" and he was awesome.
Mr. Chris answered all my students questions and even helped them complete their little checklist that I created. He discussed the use of color on a sign and the meaning of directional signs.
We went during the day but this would be a pretty amazing trip to go with a significant other at night. Not all the signs light up but they have a special lights that makes them look it.
I love the neon museum and plan on talking an out of town visitors. I also believe that locals receive a discount.
