  • I've had this restaurant bookmarked for awhile now and finally decided to head over the other day. I've read the reviews about the restaurant being hidden, but if you go during the day, I don't think you will have a problem because we didn't. Our waitress was really friendly and since we have never been to the restaurant and have never tried Salvadorean food before, we asked for her recommendations. We first started with the horchata and the ensalada for beverages, which we both enjoyed. The free chips and salsa was a nice perk, but the salsa was very light and tasted like tomato sauce. I don't think I as a big fan. We settled for the Plato Tipico: a sampler of the pupusas, pasteles (meat pies) and a tamale. The plate was definitely enough for two people. You actually pick the two pupusas you want so we ordered the chicharon and the revueltas. Overall, I thought the food was fine. I guess I probably should've ordered more meat because the plate was just full of carbs. I'll probably be back but I will order a plate with more meat next time. Prices are inexpensive - Our bill was under $20.
