It's good enough to half pay attention to while eating lunch at work. The sports is pretty in depth and useful in a certain room of the house where we go to "think". I LOVE John Petkovic' s Friday section column! I look forward to it every Friday. I saw his band open for the New York Dolls and at first i didn't like them. But they won me over. Then i started reading his column and liked him even more. Feagler rules. Regina Brett drools.
The Sunday edition is a big waste of paper though. No jobs in the classifieds(duh), cartoons blow and the Sunday magazine insert is boring. Their coverage of the county corruption scandal has been solid.
Then there's Connie Schultz. You mean to tell me this literary lame-o won a Pulitzer? Come on. Her preachy, kid-centric musings on family, politics and friendship are the most nauseating rubbish I have the extreme displeasure of ever having read. Can't we get Drew Carey to write her column instead? His book was a hoot.
p.s. STOP leaving the free Sunday wrap up in my driveway!! It is not going to convince me to get a subscription. It will make good kindling for the winter, so on second thought-keep them coming.
