| - Stopped here before the Pirates game last night. I read through the previous reviews and honestly can't think of anything else to add. So, really, there's no need to write this review but I'm doing it anyway. There are a ton of beers to choose from....pages upon pages. So, there is truly something for everyone, if you're a beer drinker that is.
Pros: Nice layout. You can opt to sit at the bar or a high table or outside, which is what our group did. Although it was mere hours before the Pirates game started, it was not as crowded as it would be on a typical ballgame night....1) it was a Monday night and 2) the Pens are in the playoffs, so....
More Pros: Server knew his stuff. He was friendly and efficient, for the most part. Although, he did give me a weird look when I told him that I did not want a glass for my beer. Sorta rude, but whatever.
The obvious con is that they don't serve food. I believe they have small bags of chips and pretzels, but that's it. However, like many other reviewers indicated, there is no issue with bringing food or having it ordered. It is clear that Beerhead does beer, and that's it. But, they do it well. So, eat at one of the many restaurants nearby before the game or at PNC during the game, and you'll be good to go!
