I do not have any family members or friends buried here. As of the date of this review, I am not buried here either. (I know this is going to be crushing to some readers.) My firsthand experiences consist of visiting this cemetery to reflect on life and death. And, local history. And, living. And, the cost of losses. And, if a loss is really a loss if it did not in the end cost one's life. And, if I am ready to risk dying in order to win. And, if that is worth it.

My favourite place of reflection is at the final resting site of World Champion Diego 'Chico' Corrales. Corrales was laid to rest here, and if you need to learn who this man was but only have three minutes to do so, I highly suggest viewing the following: https://youtu.be/I0vSpewcMx4.
I have paid homage to his graveside over the years whenever I ever needed a boost of courage for competing in combat sports. Respectful not to disturb his family during my visits, I make certain to go before or after any significant anniversaries, such as his birthday or the date of the legendary Castillo fight which also coincides with the date of his untimely death (two years to the date). He was only twenty-nine years old.
In addition to Corrales, there are many other athletes, politicians, entertainers, and mobsters buried here. And, veterans.

I have had one negative experience here. The security staff professional posted at the gate one late afternoon got unnecessarily testy because I was attempting ingress at that time of day. Frankly, at that time, I did not even realise that the hours were from reveille to retreat and it was not even after retreat anyway. This guy could be more mindful that not every one automatically knows that the hours are from sunrise to sunset.

Pro Tip: The hours are from sunrise to sunset. Don't fathom coming anytime close to sunset because Paul Blart will get ya'.
