  • i've had my hair cut here twice and both times i was satisfied with how it turned out but not so satisfied with the content of the conversations going on around me. i ignored the uncomfortable conversational content the first two times because i'm all for/ am no stranger to banter among men even if it's a little racy. however, the content of the conversation upon my third visit was unacceptable. the short of it is, if your morals are at all something you like to uphold with your pocketbook then i would highly suggest avoiding this place. i walked in and was waiting to be served when the subject of human trafficking was brought up. (yikes) each man had a chuckle about it possibly being a lucrative business and i was extremely uncomfortable but not completely ready to call it quits. i tried to write it off. then i heard a man say, "the last thing you want is a ladyboy though. i saved my boy from going home with one of those freaks. they are very convincing." as if that wasn't painful enough to hear he added, "i saved his fucking life dude." i was thoroughly uncomfortable at this point and didn't know or understand how they could so casually dehumanize a whole subset of people. if their goal is to maintain a business, they should not be so openly bigoted. i decided not to give them my business that day and won't return. it's very unfortunate that they think it's okay to speak that way about other people in a professional environment.
