  • I'm rating Kennywood 1 star because, kennywood is all about their dollar signs instead of the people that provide those dollar signs. So last night(10/28/16)myself and group of friends went to engage in the festivities kennywood had to offer, we got there around 9:50pm, the park closes at 12, in the hour and 20 mins that we were there we only got the chance to ride two rides due to the wait time (which I am in no way blaming the park for the long lines) however the lines moved pretty quick. What I am most disappointed in is after paying 70 bucks for my partner and I we were refused a ride due to they were closing and it was not even 12 we had atleast another 20 mins. We tried to get on the black widow there were about 13 people in line when we noticed that the ride was closed, we asked the attendant if we could get on due to there were still people in line that was waiting, she told us no! Mind you the black widow can fit up to 35 people (guesstimating) so they started the ride with not even half of the seats filled . As we are leaving we notice that ALL the food stands were still operating, with lines and they weren't turning anyone away. Which aggravated me for the simple reason that if you guys are closing the rides at 1130pm then EVERYTHING should be closed, food stands included. Kennywood took our money and then decided to shut the rides down 30 mins before closing time while they were still accepting money for their overpriced food. Kennywood is a scam!! The rides are overrated and boring. It's obvious what Kennywood is after which is money!! I will never spend another penny in your park! You guys have no sense of customer service or anything in that nature. TOTAL RIP OFF!! 70 bucks and two rides later. Smh. To top it off Kennywood has THEE worst "haunted house" it was basically a maze with nothing but corners no scary people no nothing. What a joke.
