I love visiting zoo's so I had to check this out while in Pittsburgh! In the beginning this was looking like a pretty crappy zoo honestly. It was about 80 degrees out and a good amount of the animals were not even visable, assuming shading themselves (can't blame them). However, the further we went we were able to see more animals and the inside exhibits were really nice. We were here about 3 hours and that was kind of rushed since we just wanted to get done with the heat, so this could definitely be an all day family event since there is playgrounds for kids also. Not a tiny zoo! Parking is free but can get pretty far out of not there early.
