Was seen here one month after I had my newborn for a sinus infection. I have a pretty bad deviated septum and get a sinus infection every year when the seasons change and require an antibiotic. This one was pretty severe to where my jaw was hurting. I explained all of this to the medical assistant who typed it in her laptop, shortly after Brian comes in. This was by far my worst experience here, he tells me to try a couple of things over the counter and doesn't want to prescribe me an antibiotic but to wait it out. I'm a new mother dealing with lack of sleep, a sinus infection that is hurting so bad that I can't even eat, while having to take care of an infant, and I'm expected to let my infection run it's course? After he spends about 7 minutes with me he asks if I need a Dr's note for work, I then tell him no bc I'm on maternity leave. He then starts going back on some of the things he originally told me to take over the counter bc they aren't necessarily suitable if you're breast feeding. So not only am I not getting an antibiotic but my charts aren't even being reviewed prior to being seen. Don't bother going here, this was a waste of time and money. ($80 for 7 min to walk out the door with nothing)
Later that day I explained my terrible experience to my midwife who ended up calling in an antibiotic for me, this was the only way I got to feeling better NOT BY NEXTCARE!
