I traveled to this Sears location with the sole intention of purchasing a refrigerator for my new place. Upon entering the appliance section, I noticed that the store felt alive with many employees standing by and a sprinkling of customers here and there. I figured that a sales person would soon approach as I surveyed the inventory of refrigerators, narrowed my options to a few and felt satisfactorily equipped with a few questions about important details prior to making my purchase and nobody was available. True, there were several employees standing by in the general vicinity, but that is the extent of what they were doing, standing. Well, and talking... to one another. Make note that there was one slobbish sales boy assisting a couple also shopping for refrigerators, yet he encountered us several times and didn't acknowledge us let alone inform us that he (or anyone, for that matter) would be available to MAKE A SALE! Such customer service (or complete lack thereof) is absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable. I'll go to a competitor and pay a slightly higher price to support a business that knows how to properly perform business before returning to Sears.
