Updated - I moved from one star to two stars since they redid the car and reimbursed me for the part of the difference.
My teenage son brought the car in for the $99/axle brake job on the car. He didn't pay attention and came home with an invoice that was more than double for only the rear axles! I called in to complain and was told that it was too bad - he authorized the repairs. I posted a one star review on yelp and the shop called my son back to redo their brake job with the $99 brakes. When reviewing the invoice I also noticed an extra $22.50 charge for "Ratcheting Caliper Labor" was on the bill. I checked with a mechanic friend who said that this was a bogus charge. I talked to the person at the shop regarding this and he refuses to remove this from my bill. It is very frustrating because when I called originally for an estimate the person quoted me the $99 price and said that my car qualified for this pricing. I even contacted a different Brakes Plus store which informed me that there was no additional labor necessary on a 2010 Honda Accord. If anyone reading this can tell me what is accurate I would greatly appreciate it - I called the customer service phone number that is listed on their website and it is not correct???
On a side note, I would recommend using the Brakes Plus at 18415 N 35th Ave store because they even informed me about a $20 coupon they have on the website. This at least covered part of the bogus $22.50 ratcheting labor charge that I was not informed about.
