  • Also known to my husband and me as Scary Fabric. It's a cavernous warehouse stacked with bolts and bolts of fabric, staffed by a coat-wearing lady (it's always cold in there) who screeches at her stock guy to go put that stuff away already. I think she's awesome. As Kat F. mentioned, they are willing to deal and they always names a price that I'm happy with. Nothing is labelled beyond the categorical overhead signs so it's best to get Her to point you in the right direction. You are not going to find fancy designer prints here but you will always find something. You can try and find your notions here but you'd have to pick through the huge cones of thread, assorted zippers and odd-ball rolls of velcro. They've expanded into the next building with a furniture and moped division. I don't know if it's still "Fabric Fabric" (Scooter Scooter perhaps?) It just doesn't make sense but it's fun to walk through and browse.
