I haven't lived in my old neighbourhood of St. Clair West for quite some time and decided to make a visit. Came across this restaurant by chance. The name of the restaurant doesn't really scream Vietnamese until you read their menu which was posted on the window. I was greeted by the owner and was sat immediately. The menu is limited but they do make Bun Bo Hue. I rate all my Vietnamese pho places by this national specialty.
It came out piping hot...bonus and looked alright, nothing special. Toppings were a little sparse but the broth was surprisingly good. I had to add extra hot chilli oil but that's my personal preference. The noodles weren't the regular bun noodles served in other restaurants but the thin "mei fun" noodles. Overall a satisfying solid bowl of noodle soup and because the elderly couple was welcoming I would be back to try their other fares. This is a great addition to the already diverse ethnic establishments in the area.
