After a long day at the pool, day club, and shopping, we were hungry. Gangnam Asian BBQ has amazing Yelp reviews and it seemed like a safe choice for dinner. We arrived ~5pm, still in time to enjoy the Happy Hour specials.
We got:
-2 orders of Beef Toro $4x2
-Pork Belly: $4
-Cream Cheese Wonton: $3
-Sweet Corn: $2
-Chicken Karaage: $4
-Jalapeno Poppers: $4
-Prime Kalbi: $8.95
-Strawberry Macaron Ice cream sandwich: Free with Yelp Check in
The entire feast for two was only ~$40 and it was very good.
If I were to go again, I would skip the Chicken Karaage and the Cream Cheese Wonton and it would still be plenty of food for us. The set-up is more Korean than Japanese but the sauces were more yakiniku style. If you're looking for authenticity, this is not the place. However, if you're looking for good food at a great price point, head on over.
