This place has become awful. The smell of feet/vomit greets you as soon as you enter and lingers the entire time you are there.
It doesn't appear that anything has been updated since the last time I visited (2002). The place was also dirty, especially the carpets and bathrooms. It's nearly impossible for a novice or rusty skater to get their bearings because the old head speed skaters take up the outer edge of the rink while skate-dancers fool around in the middle. There is a practice/pool area, which is an inefficient combination.
The rental skates reek and are in poor condition. The bathrooms are dirty and missing essentials. The greeter was polite, but everything else was a nightmare.
If you have your own skates, and don't mind holding your nose the whole time then this is the place for you. I think I can go another 13 years without visiting this place again.
