  • I have had nothing but a spectacular experience. I have a teacup Chihuahua and work long hours. I cannot leave her at home by herself for the entire day. Merci needs attention and gets to go outside and interact with other dogs... The owner is compassionate about all of the dogs. She considers them all family! She is very understanding and attentive to their need and Merci's needs! I started going to The Furshire when Merci was just 8weeks old. She is now 4 months and 2 weeks. At every stage of her development, I was asked to supply Merc's veterinary records. To the prior post comments, The Furshire was previously in the process of moving to their new location at 4901 W. Greenway Road. This location is less than 5 miles away from my job. The prices are affordable. If need be, the staff will take Merci to the vet. And, on occasion from certain locations, there is pick ups in the morning. Haven't needed to try this service yet, but I know that is available. Prior comments also discussed possible unsanitary conditions. There has been nothing but sanitary conditions which I have observed. All of the animals are well cared for. The individual living quarters for the animals is clean and spacious. Merci is well behaved and socialized due to the owners efforts and her interactions with the dogs which board there... I highly recommend The Furshire! Merci & I are completely blessed to have found Janene, the owner, and The Furshire!!! You should go check things out for yourself and meet the owner and the facilities. I know you will be thoroughly satisfied and happy that you checked things out!
