Peachtree was pretty disappointing. We went there expecting Southern food, as advertised, but it turned out to be another one of those "foodie" places where the chef is trying to impress with appearance, trendiness, and high prices instead of genuinely good food. There wasn't a real down home Southern dish to be had: no bone-in fried chicken, no catfish, no ribs, no grits, and not much seasoning on anything. We were looking for a place to please the palates of those who love real Southern food. Cornbread was pretty good, but no refills after one small piece. A very limited dessert menu -- and the South is famous for its desserts. The service was good, atmosphere nice but with weird music (Rockabilly?) and the check for two of us was over $100.
