| - I have lived in the Met for a whole year in 2016. I am expecting a better quality judging by the rent you are paying. It was ok for the first three months until the building was fully occupied.
Few issues:
1. You will never find a parking spot unless you pay additional money for dedicated cover park, which might also be parked by random stranger sometime.
2. no surveillance camera in the parking lot; My car was damaged while parking at my paid parking spot. The management office will not help.
be aware if you want to live on first floor:
3. Mosquito all over the place. I cannot open sliding window in the living room. You can see mosquito on the screen (not just 1 or 2). I asked for pest control, but it does not help.
4. cricket comes to your apartment during the summer time. I have step on or catch cricket in the night (everyday). I have to clean those cricket promptly. If I don't, I have seen a scorpion on the floor once. (probably related issue)
5. up stair noise. The material of the build is so bad, you can hear people walking, washing clothes, or water runs from up-stair. My up stair neighbor used to throw party every Friday eve until 4am, I can hear all kind of noise.
6. I recently received a late payment notice from alliance management office. I have moved out the apartment, and the management office has done a pre-move out inspection. I was not been told that I have any issue. But, I just received a cleaning charge (without explain where and why). I tried to contact the office, but no one pick up the phone, reply my call, or reply my email. It looks like they just throw a bill to you without explanation.
7. last, there will not be a refund return to you from the deposit. I remember I paid $250 for deposit, but it looks like they will not return it to you and you have to pay additional fee on top of it.
You can find a better place with the same rent that you are paying.
