  • Authentic, well-prepared casual Japanese fare. A little pricey but mostly in its own category as few restaurants in the city offer what they do. Best bets: futomaki, hiyashi-chuka in the summertime (cold ramen salad), udon, katsudon. I would give this place more stars but the service is always cold and lacking spirit. For being a somewhat regular customer over the years it would be nice to be greeted with a bit of a smile.
